Design
The 2025 Honda HR-V features a modern and sophisticated design that boasts sleek flowing Lines and elevated finishing touches. This includes slender LED headlights and a honeycomb grille that creates a striking front end.
The interior features high-end materials and a design inspired by the Honda Civic, including a unique high-mounted center console and a honeycomb-patterned air vent. Performance
Powering all HR-V models is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine outputting 158 horsepower and 138 lbs.-ft of torque. A continuously variable automatic transmission is standard, as is front-wheel drive. Although all-wheel drive can be equipped to any trim.
Even with its single powertrain, the EPA found the HR-V to be quite fuel-efficient. Front-wheel drive models got around 26 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. Meanwhile, all-wheel drive dipped in efficiency to 25 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.
Technology
Throughout the cabin, South Hampton and Burlington, NJ shoppers will enjoy the wealth of tech throughout. A seven-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto comes standard. While higher trims offer a nine-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Safety
As you cruise down the highway near Trenton and through the city of Levittown, the HR-V will keep you safe. Adaptive cruise control, a lane-keeping system, and automatic emergency braking all come standard. While more advanced features like parking sensors and a blind-spot monitor are only available in higher trims and in optional packages.
Trims
The Honda HR-V is offered in three trim levels: LX, Sport, and EX-L.
LX: Sitting on 17-inch wheels, the LX offers a push-button start, a height-adjustable driver's seat, and a seven-inch touchscreen.
Sport: The mid-tier LX rides on 18-inch wheels and includes tinted rear windows, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and heated front seats. No safety feature upgrades are offered, but two more speakers are added for a total of six in the model.
EX-L: As the highest trim, the EX-L has all the amenities of the Sport. There's also a sunroof, leather upholstery, a nine-inch center touchscreen, and an eight-speaker audio system that's standard.
